Biomechanics-Led Coaching Philosophy
We place a strong emphasis on understanding how the body functions to create an efficient, repeatable and consistent golf swing — forming the foundation of everything we teach at the Academy.

Led by Director of Golf Greg Holmes PGA, with over 30 years of experience coaching all levels of golfer, Greg brings a proven background through his experience in golf coaching, elite-level academy environments and high-performance golf. His approach focuses on helping every golfer improve their skills, confidence and enjoyment of the game.
Greg's vision is to create a supportive environment where golfers of all abilities feel comfortable to learn, improve and enjoy the game. Instruction is delivered by PGA-qualified coaches and supported by industry-leading TrackMan and biomechanical technology.
Elevating golf excellence through a rigorous scientific lens. Our curriculum merges traditional mastery with cutting-edge biomechanical analysis to redefine your potential.
We are an academy with a 360° approach to improving every player's golf performance. All coaching is data-driven, concentrating on biomechanical movement patterns which help every student create a more consistent golf swing—supported by the highest-performance technology available.
We place a strong emphasis on understanding how the body functions to create an efficient, repeatable and consistent golf swing — forming the foundation of everything we teach at the Academy.
Every player undergoes a detailed starting assessment, with regular follow-ups to track progress, identify limitations and refine both movement and technique.
Coaching is built around key movement principles including mobility, stability, balance and coordination to create a repeatable golf swing.
By improving movement efficiency and reducing physical limitations, players enjoy healthier, stronger and more sustainable golf.
A consistent golf swing develops through efficient body sequencing, allowing power to transfer from the ground through the club.
We connect body movement directly to swing mechanics, helping golfers understand how movement influences performance.
Every Academy instructor follows the same performance-driven coaching philosophy, ensuring consistency in standards, communication and player development.
At Aguila Performance we believe that the golf swing should be understood as a coordinated athletic movement rather than simply a series of technical positions. Many golfers attempt to improve by focusing purely on swing mechanics, yet in many cases the underlying cause lies in how the body moves during the swing.
Instead of forcing players into a single swing model, our philosophy is based on understanding how each golfer's body moves and optimising the swing to suit individual physical capabilities.
Using the body in a biomechanically sound way that produces power without strain.
Capable of producing consistent results under competitive pressure.
Allowing players to perform across different course conditions and environments.
Integrated Into Every Coaching Programme
At Aguila Performance we believe that lasting improvement in golf begins with understanding how the body moves. That is why biomechanics and movement science are integrated into every aspect of our coaching—not as an optional add-on, but as a fundamental part of player development.
Every player undergoes a comprehensive movement assessment before coaching begins. By identifying the physical factors that influence swing efficiency, we build coaching programmes that address the root cause of performance limitations—developing greater control, improved power and long-term repeatability.
Evaluating joint mobility to ensure golfers can rotate efficiently throughout the swing.
Identifying weaknesses in core stability that may affect balance, sequencing and consistent ball striking.
Improving coordination and sequencing of body movement to create a more efficient and repeatable golf swing.
Enhancing the generation and transfer of power through the body and into the club for greater distance and consistency.
Ball speed, club path, face angle, spin rate and impact data are captured during every session and reviewed together with your coach—transforming complex numbers into clear, practical improvements you can apply immediately.
One swing does not fit all. Great golf is built on understanding how your body moves—then freeing it to perform.
